1:1 Coaching

Working on the structure, not the surface.

Psychologically grounded 1:1 coaching via Zoom. For men who've had enough of motivational formulas and 5-step plans.

How the coaching works

    You write to me.

    You answer the five questions below and send them to mail@danielhanke.com. If I believe I can help you, I'll get back to you within 48 hours.

  2. 02

    We talk for 45 minutes — free, via Zoom.

    No pitch. No script. You talk, I listen, I ask. At the end I'll tell you honestly whether coaching makes sense for you — and if not, I'll tell you that too.

  3. 03

    We decide together.

    If both sides want to, we set up the first sessions. One hour 90 €, paid in advance by bank transfer. No minimum term, no packages. We work as long as it makes sense.

  4. 04

    We work — every 1–2 weeks, 60 minutes, via Zoom.

    Between sessions: concrete exercises, brief check-ins by email if you get stuck. Confidential, no notes shared with third parties, no distribution.

With women, friends, family. You stop protecting yourself, and you actually show up. That changes who responds to you — and how.

For whom — and for whom not

For you, if:

  • You're between 22 and 38 and live in the German-speaking region.
  • You function in life — and still feel like something is off.
  • You've read books, taken courses, tried discipline — and noticed: the problem is deeper.
  • You're ready to give honest answers, even when they're uncomfortable.
  • You understand that change takes time — no 30-day challenge.

Not for you, if:

  • You're in acute psychological crisis (depression, anxiety disorder, trauma, suicidal thoughts). Then you need therapy, not coaching. I'm happy to help you find someone.
  • You're looking for pickup tricks or 'alpha frames'.
  • You expect me to tell you what to do.
  • You're not ready to invest in yourself — financially and time-wise.

No scheduling software, no online form. An honest email filters better than any tool. Answer as briefly or as fully as it feels right — one line per question is enough, more is fine too.

Frequent questions

  • How many sessions do I need?

    It depends on what you want to change. Some men work with me for 6 months, others for two years. There's no minimum term. We decide together after session 4 whether it fits.

  • What if I need therapy instead of coaching?

    Then I'll tell you that honestly in the first call. Coaching works on patterns in the here and now. Therapy works on trauma, diagnoses, clinical symptoms. Sometimes you need both.

  • Can I come irregularly?

    Yes. We talk every 1–2 weeks — but pauses are fine. I don't work with pressure.

  • Why not shorter sessions or groups?

    60 minutes 1:1 is the smallest meaningful unit. Group coaching is coming later (see Community).
